Mast Architects is a small Manchester-based studio creating homes across the UK, dedicated to designing spaces that suit the way you live.

With over 30 years of combined experience, we guide you from the first idea through to completion, making the process straightforward and collaborative. Our designs aim to be both beautiful and practical, creating homes that feel effortless to live in while standing the test of time.

Our support includes advice on permitted development, planning and Building Regulations, along with detailed design services. We work on a wide range of projects, including new homes, extensions, lofts, garage and barn conversions, refurbishments, and small to medium sized developments for both residential and commercial clients.

Matt is a distinguished architect with over 20 years of professional experience, He completed his studies at the renowned Manchester School of Architecture. With an impressive background, he has held a senior Associate position at an esteemed architectural practice located in the city center, recognized for its accolades. Throughout his career, Matt has engaged in an extensive range of projects, spanning from expansive and intricate city center developments to smaller-scale residential endeavors. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise as a visiting mentor at the Manchester School of Architecture, nurturing aspiring architects. Moreover, Matt has also consulted as a senior advisor, collaborating with a larger multi-disciplinary practice, further expanding his impact in the field. 

 Stephanie has been in the industry for over 16 years and began her journey at the Architectural Design and Technology school at Salford University while working simultaneously at a medium-sized architectural firm situated in the city center. Over the course of her career, she has participated in a wide variety of projects, ranging from airports and shopping centers to hotels, as well as numerous small-scale residential developments . 

Nevertheless, her genuine passion lies in the precise execution of residential design, overseeing the entire construction process from planning to completion, and crafting breathtaking interior spaces.
